Moods, in a few words.

Moods is a café, brunch spot, cocktail bar and private events venue at First White Cloth Hall, 98 Kirkgate, Leeds. Coffee and daytime food lead into cocktails and bar snacks, in a restored Grade II* listed building that first opened for cloth trading in 1711.

The setting gives celebrations, company gatherings and everyday visits a distinctive home in Leeds city centre.

Venue opening hours: Sunday–Thursday 8am–11pm
Friday and Saturday 8am–12.30am the following morning
Brunch service: 8am–4pm
Coffee service: 8am–6pm
Bar snacks: Noon–9pm
Private hire: Dedicated areas Sunday–Thursday. Historic Wing Friday and Saturday for up to 50 guests. Whole-venue hire Sunday–Thursday for up to 150 guests. Guest numbers, layout, menus and availability are confirmed by the events team.
Table reservations: Book online for up to 12 guests. Groups of 13 or more can send an event enquiry.

For architectural and historical reporting, our hall is the First White Cloth Hall on Kirkgate. It is distinct from the later Third White Cloth Hall on Crown Street.
